The essentials, in plain language
Before you hire, what matters
- Writing to us through the form or WhatsApp is how you tell us what you need; on its own it does not confirm a contract.
- Before starting, we agree with you on the work, the price and the applicable conditions.
- If additional parts or work are needed, their quote must be confirmed.
- Back up your files before any work whenever possible.
- Your rights as a consumer remain intact. The full conditions are below.
This summary helps you get your bearings. The complete information follows.
Conditions for requesting assistance
Last updated: 18 September 2026
These conditions explain how you can request assistance from Barcelona Informático through barcelonainformatico.com, what information we provide before starting and what responsibilities belong to each party.
1. Contact
Barcelona Informático provides IT services in Barcelona and the service areas indicated on the website. For queries related to these conditions you can write to info@barcelonainformatico.com.
The company name, tax ID and registered address will only be included once they have been provided and verified. If the regulations require this data, it must be completed before using the website as the definitive contractual channel.
2. Proper use of the website
When using this website you must act lawfully and provide truthful information. Accessing restricted areas without authorisation, altering the operation, introducing malicious code, automating abusive submissions or infringing third-party rights is not permitted.
Availability may be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance, hosting incidents, failures of external providers or causes beyond the reasonable control of Barcelona Informático.
3. Information, requests and quotes
A query by form, phone or WhatsApp, as well as reading a listing, does not in itself constitute a contract. Before starting the work, its scope, availability, travel, diagnosis, price and taxes, parts, deadlines and particular conditions may be specified.
The listings and their images provide guidance on each product or service and may show non-essential differences. Any obvious error in their data will be clarified before accepting the transaction.
4. Diagnosis and repair
The feasibility of a repair depends on the condition of the equipment, its prior damage, the available parts and technical possibilities. The general information published does not guarantee the recovery of any equipment or all of its data.
Before handing over equipment or authorising its inspection, tell us about the faults you already know about and make a backup if possible. When data cannot be copied, the risk will be agreed before carrying out operations that may affect the storage.
Deliberate access to personal files is limited to what is technically necessary for the requested work and requires the corresponding authorisation. It is the customer's responsibility to have the necessary passwords, licences and rights over their equipment, software and data.
5. Products, orders and payments
When the shop is enabled, the summary before payment will show the items and amount of the transaction. The order is subject to confirmation, availability and payment validation. Stripe processes card data; Barcelona Informático receives the identifiers and statuses necessary to verify the transaction, not the full card number.
Depending on the product or service and the applicable regulations, the conditions of delivery, installation, withdrawal, returns, warranty and taxes will be informed. The mandatory rights of consumers and users remain intact.
6. Accounts
If you open an account, protect the confidentiality of your credentials and report unauthorised access. Fraudulent, abusive use or use contrary to these conditions may lead to its suspension. Where applicable, the information necessary to comply with legal obligations will be retained.
7. Content and intellectual property
The texts, designs, logos and other own materials are protected by the applicable regulations, unless otherwise indicated. You may browse the website and share its public links. The reproduction or substantial exploitation of that content requires authorisation.
The owners of third-party services, trademarks and resources retain their rights. Reviews from Google keep their source and the authorship with which they were published.
8. Links and external services
The website may link to or use external services such as WhatsApp, Google, Stripe, maps, social networks or content delivery resources. Each service maintains its own terms and policies. Barcelona Informático does not control the availability or content of external pages.
9. Liability
Barcelona Informático will be liable in accordance with the applicable regulations and the specific conditions agreed. No liability that cannot legally be excluded is excluded or limited. We are not liable for damages caused by false or omitted information provided by the user, misuse, prior malware, third-party failures or failure to follow security instructions, unless they are legally attributable to Barcelona Informático.
10. Privacy
See how your data is processed in the Privacy Policy, included in the information governing the use of this website.
11. Regulations and dispute resolution
Spanish law applies, respecting the mandatory rules that protect consumers based on their place of residence. In the event of a disagreement, a solution will first be attempted through direct contact; if this is not possible, the competent bodies will resolve it in accordance with the applicable regulations.
12. Changes
Technical, commercial or regulatory changes may require a new version of these conditions. The version published when the website is used or the transaction is agreed will apply, without retroactively modifying rights already acquired.
